My handmade American Girl nightgown is
made from soft and cuddly flannel and can be personalized with your
doll's very own name. The doll modeling this outfit is Nikki but I did not have Lanie at the time I made this gown. The customer
who ordered it ordered the name Lanie.
Nikki likes this light blue gown because it goes
with her blue eyes so well. Nikki and the slippers are not included but you can purchase the slippers when you purchase your nightgown.
Nikki heard that her sister Becky, who is modeling my American Girl flannel nightgown, was going over to Nellie's for a DVD party. Nikki really loves this nightgown and wants me to make her one with her own name on it. Maybe someday Nikki! Especially now that I have my own embroidery machine.
The long sleeve flannel nightgown has lace at the yoke and hem. It closes in back with Velcro for ease of dressing. Color choices in the pull-down menu are white, light blue, light pink, lavender and red for Christmas. I will machine-embroider your doll's name as shown. If you choose red flannel, I will use green thread so that it shows up and looks Christmas-y. If you choose white, I will probably use pink or lavender.
Here is a close-up of how the name will look: 
VERY IMPORTANT: Please type the doll's name in the message area of the shopping cart. Make sure you spell it correctly because it will be embroidered exactly the way you write it. When in doubt, if giving a gift, call the recipient's mom and see how the little girl spells her doll's name, to avoid any disappointment. A little girl's doll's name is sometimes as important as the girl's own name.
