Handmade American Girl and Bitty Clothes

American Girl and Bitty Baby or Bitty Twin clothes are handmade by me and my mom

American Girl First Communion Dress setHandmade doll clothes for your American Girl doll or Bitty Baby/Twin doll are something you can be sure will last a long time and hopefully become some of your little girls' favorite American Girl size clothes.

A good way to keep in touch is through my Kitt's Kloset Facebook page. There you will see the latest items I'm working on or if you're local, what craft show I'll be doing next.

I have been sewing American Girl doll clothes since 2006 but my mom has been sewing them quite a bit longer. I also am featuring some doll clothes made by two friends. I'm gradually adding other play doll size clothing such as Hearts For Hearts, Best Friends Club (BFC Ink) and MyTwinn. See the Other Doll Clothes category. My Twinn has recently launched a line of 18 inch dolls that are really nice. I have a couple of them and they will be making an appearance on the web site. I also have 23 inch My Twinn dolls that I like to sew for and will be adding those clothes too.

My friend Holly from New York makes the beautiful American Girl historical outfits and a couple of other regular outfits as well. My friend Kathy from Iowa has made the modern and old-fashioned American Girl undergarments I have listed here. I have more of her outfits to list as well. Check out the About page to learn more about these two talents.

If you have visited Kitt's before and have it bookmarked, I hope you will enjoy the new look of the site. I have tried to consolidate links for a less cluttered look so all you need to do to shop is click one of the main links across the top for either American Girl clothes or Bitty Baby/Twin clothes. That will take you to category pages which list the products.

I hope the new look will tempt you into treating someone to some handmade American Girl clothes today!

NOTE: While I use American Girl dolls for all my models, I am not affiliated with their company. I simply love their beautiful dolls and collect them myself. Basically I'm showcasing my own collection here along with doll clothes I happen to sell.

I had the pleasure of being featured in Karen, Mom of Three's blog (June 2014) where she features various handmade artisans. This article told about my website and also my Etsy shop.
